I used to be a staunch Democrat...

This picture is little dated, but I thought I'd share a few pictures of the family and the now-certain Republican nominee...and maybe the VP candidate? (Psssst: it's Tim Pawlenty, governor of Minnesota.)

And a little story here. Just before we took the picture, John McCain hit my elbow with the kids big digital camera...smacking Colin square in the face. Colin was hysterical (can you tell?) - both McCain and I tried to console him to no avail. Eh, he's got no scars and it makes for a good story.
