In the middle of Staycation Day #2 and Errand Marathon Tuesday, we got a call from my father in law: did we want 4 tickets to the Red Sox game? Um, yes! These are the great seats we got once before, just a few rows up from the Red Sox dugout. So with a little scramble to get home and into appropriate attire (Sox shirts and hats) and a call to my mom/sister to beg them to take Seamus (poor kiddo), we were off on the T to Fenway Park. As we were walking in (late), we hear loud cheers. We get a report that Big Papi hit a 3 run home run. Bummer to have missed it, and we wondered aloud if that might be the only scoring and wouldn't that be a bummer. Well, we got in the park just in time to see Big Papi hit another 3 run home run...in the same inning. 10 runs in all. The Rangers were not shrinking away though and the scoring continued, ending in a 19-17 win for the Sox. All in all, a great game...and the rain mostly held off, thankfully!

Oh...and it did start to rain. Weatherman Colin worried. But it didn't stop him from eating. And then he did a Happy Dance when it stopped raining. The boy ain't right.
