Aidan, on Aidan

I had Aidan's open house at school last week. There were a few books lying around that his teacher had each kid create a page for. They were, and Aidan's answers:

>>>What food would you most be? Candy
>>>How does your name make you feel? Really good
>>>What is your wish for first grade? To get a half-day of school

The last one made me feel the worst...other kids wanted to make friends, learn to read, get kindness tickets. My lazy kid? Less education. Awesome.

One cool thing was she took pictures and had a slide show running on the mounted TV. That isn't what my 1st grade classroom looked like!! And then there were a few things posted up around the classroom.

You probably have to blow this up (aka click on the picture) to read this. Who knew Aidan had another brother! Or that his favorite food is "cup." Guess I'll have to incorporate those more into our menu plans...

Self-portrait - is this a glimpse into the future when he'll surely have braces? Me thinks so.
