First Day of Kindergarten & Preschool

Today was Colin and Seamus' turn to start school. They were both very excited going in. Colin sprinted into the class after the teacher took a family picture in car dropoff line - me hanging over the steering wheel and Joe (in the minivan that would soon have a giant dent in the back of it...more on that later...maybe). Seamus was equally excited heading into the school. But notsomuch once we entered the building and tried to leave him in his classroom. Clingsville. Joe and I finally just decided to make a break for it and thrust him into his teacher's arms. I did run around the side of the building to peer into the window about 10 minutes later and he was up laughing and pointing. Sweet relief.
