Happy birthday, dear Seamus!

Our little devil is 3 today. The fact I'll never again have a 2 year old is more sad than exciting. But I'm sure I'll get over that. (That is reassurance for you, Dad.)

Seamus was going around this morning saying "say Happy Birthday to me" and we would and he'd say "thank you!!"

I also got this new favorite game of his a couple of times.

S: I a baby, Mommy?
Me: No Seamus. You're not a baby.
S: I your baby, Mommy?
Me: Yes, Seamus - always.

It's the cute stuff like that that makes me get through the times when he's running around like a banshee or finding trouble in every inch of our house.

We did our family tradition present search (hide as many little presents as their age) and he was all about opening them on his own...no help from Colin or Aidan, thankyouverymuch. So indepedenent. He was really excited though. I'll share some pictures of that later.

Now he is off at school, 12 mini cupcakes in hand. But here he is, through the years. Really hard to find a single picture from 2 on where he's not making a wacky face...

Happy Birthday, Seamus! Alyssa is seems positively impossible that a) he's THREE already and b) you'll never have another two year old. Ducking now....

Uh, that should have read: "Alyssa, it seems..."

Who's visiting?
