Joe's work schedule changed as of this week, which has sent me into a tizzy of calendar balancing and begging nice friends to transport Colin to his after school program.
Colin's big concern over this: no longer does Seamus have "Daddy/Seamus Day" every Monday. Seamus has always (ok, since September) announced with glee every Monday - "today is Daddy/Seamus Day!" as he didn't go to school and Joe didn't go to work.
I explained the situation to Colin and assured him that Seamus would still get that day, but it would vary each week. Colin asked for his own "Daddy/Colin Day" and I stammered through a complex explanation of when I thought we could make that happen. Colin was happy.
Until....
He realized that meant Aidan would not have a "Daddy/Aidan Day" which got Colin all upset. He said he wouldn't have his day unless Aidan got one too.
Aw.
