I should know better

I was trying to be organized and make lunches early today, since - other than bathtime - it's my least favorite Mommy chore and I like to get it over with since it can't just go away.

The boys wanted PB&J for lunch today (shocker) so I told Joe to make 2 extra sandwiches for Colin & Seamus' Monday lunch at the same time. (Aidan's school is peanut free, which is a PITA. Much worse will be the fact that this will be Colin's school next year and PB&J is what he eats daily for lunch at kindergarten. Thankfully he is open to sunflower butter as a substitute.)

So - Joe makes the extra sandwiches, cuts them to spec (triangle for Seamus, square for Colin) and leaves them out for me to pack along with 15 other items for all 3 of them. (Seriously? Moo. But they eat most everything - 5 things for Seamus, 5 for Colin and 7 for Aidan since he needs 2 snacks too.)

I mistakenly go upstairs to grab the laundry baskets and come down to 3 of the 4 sandwiches halves gone. Eaten. Well, mostly:
