S-E-X

I was doing my usual evening routine: working in one window, playing online Scrabble in another window and watching the Sox. The boys for the first time decided to take interest in my online game tonight, asking how to play and then trying to read the words. One of them was sex. (Hey, it was a chance for a triple letter score on the X - you had to play that!) Colin pointed to it (after pointing to many more innocuous words) and I said, "oh that one is nothing, next!" Aidan decided to sound it out and said it right, followed by "that's inappropriate." I asked him why he thought that, does he know what it means? After some hemming and hawing, he said "it means naked people making out." He's got no official explanation as to how he knows this, but I'm blaming that yellow thing that takes him to school.
