la roca, el horno, la leche

The boys are all interested in other languages, although Seamus thinks any other language he hears is Spanish. You can't convince him otherwise. (Note to self: you keep forgetting to look into language classes for them. Slacker mom, point #867.)

Seamus just came in and asked in rapid fire:

S: Mommy, how do you say ROCK in Spanish?
M: Dunno.
S: Mommy, how do you say OVEN in Spanish?
M: Dunno.
S: Mommy, how do you say MILK in Spanish?
M: (Opening Dictionary.com Translate, because I was of course within 8 inches of my computer during this conversation.) Dunno. But I'm looking it all up now.
S: Oh, ok. I'm going back outside now.

Sigh. Why do I bother?
