Our littlest daredevil
Seamus has finally nearly mastered riding his bike without training wheels. It's good that he figured it out mainly on his own, because my back wasn't up for much more teaching. So last night he random shouted out, "Hey Mommy! Watch what I can do!" Usually, these are words that fill me with fear, and they're often yelled from a great height or involve some sort of made up martial arts move being tested on a brother. But this time? I just saw my little 4 year old pedal his hardest, perfectly balanced and happily jetting forward. Ok, so he was basically aiming for the pole holding up the basketball net - but he swerved in plenty o time. The bigger concern? He didn't yell something back to me like "Look what I can do!" or "Aren't you proud of me?!" No. Instead I got this: "Awesome - now I can be in the X Games!!"
