What kind of parent forgets the snacks?

As a U6 soccer coach, one of the roles I felt I should play was that of snack coordinator. I mean, kids this age like to eat, especially after running around. So when I held the first practice, I came armed with a grid of the games with a blank slot next to each date, and asked each parent to pick a date (optional!) to provide a post-game snack.

So here we are, in week 5 of the season. We had what I'll call our best game yet (only lost by 6) and the game ends and the kids are looking for animal crackers and juice boxes. Only there are none to be found. Really? Really? I was so organized. I not only handed out the schedule with the dates each parent had signed up for, I even emailed it to the parents. Who the hell dropped the ball?

Um, yeah......that would be me. Not only am I the coach, I'm a parent of a player. Who can't hold up her end of the bargain.
