Ahoy, Mates!

We went to the town's Child Safety Day yesterday . (Try explaining to a 5 & 6 year old why we're doing both dental impressions and finger prints without freaking them out. It ain't easy.)

In addition to the serious stuff, they had a lot of fun things for the kids, including face painting. The boys were all hesitant at first, but decided to each get a mustache. Then they kept going back...adding a beard, then some stubble, and then they each morphed into pirates. They loved it and looked really cute...until that crap starting coming off all over the place. Oy, what a mess. I had to scrub the tub extra hard today to get all the black residue off...and I think it could use one more round with the Clorox.
