TGIF!

Not much interesting to report this week, which is why I've been pretty quiet here. My fabulous neighbors fed us twice - so sweet! And it's great because - not only, of course, I don't have to cook! - but it means the boys have playtime with other kids before bed. And not only does it tire them out, but it makes for fewer meltdowns in the "witching hour(s)." Which is very key to a happy day in my world.

I'd been worried with how Seamus would be going from being home with Joe to 4 full days at school each week. The answer: great! He runs in to his classroom nearly every day (once in a while he pulls the shy Seamus for a few minutes, but I'm told that only lasts until I leave) and, while he's really happy to see me when I arrive, if I come in and just observe him before making my presence known, he's clearly happy playing. Colin too has adjusted well going to full days...in fact, I often pick him up and he tells me he's not ready to go yet. Aidan goes to "Champions" after school 2 days, and likes it...until his friends leave about 15 minutes before I usually arrive.

We're in a really good routine...even though on school days I'm not getting us all up as early as I planned to (we are NOT a morning family), no one has yet missed the bus or been late to school. I call that success!

Now, onto a busy weekend...the least of which is to watch a Red Sox/Yankees series. Happiness.
